| So it all comes down to one game for the Stanley Cup. The Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes face off in that game tonight at RBC Center in Raleigh, Carolina at a little after 8 p.m. tonight. So which captain is going to raise Stanley above their heads at the end of the evening, will it be Rod Brind‘Amour or Jason Smith? Well if you are going by momentum you’d have to say that the Edmonton Oilers since overtime in game-five when Fernando Pisani scored a shorthanded goal to give the Oil a 4-3 win have had that advantage in spades -- they proved that last Saturday when they shutout the Canes 4-0 at Rexall Place. But judging by statistics the Canes have the advantage, since of the 13 times the finals have gone to seven games, 11 of them have been won by the home team. So which will it be? Which will it be? You just have to watch to find out. |
